Who's telling the stories, where their questions go, the day it starts. Keep our questions from the Grandpa, Grandma, Dad or Mom journal, or reorder them and add your own.
They answer by talking
One question each week by email. Tap, talk, done: no app and no typing. Typing and photos are there if they want them.
The book grows, then we print it
Every answer is written out and laid into the book. Fix a word, pick the photos, and when it feels ready we print a color hardcover and ship it to your door.
A book you can hear
Handwriting fades and memories blur, but a voice stays. Every story in the book has a small code in the corner. Scan it with any phone and hear it told, the pauses and the laugh included, for as long as the family keeps the book.

Questions, answered
What does the storyteller actually do?
Once a week they get an email with one question. They tap the link, press one big button and talk, the way they would on the porch. No app, no account, no typing needed. They can type instead if they prefer, and add a photo.
How is it different from Storyworth?
Answers are spoken first, so the book keeps their real voice: every page has a small code that plays the story out loud. You can pay monthly, the family plan has up to three storytellers, and gentle reminders help the book actually get finished.
What's in the hardcover?
A color hardcover, 6 x 9 inches, with their name in gold on a leather-look cover in the Porch Stories colors. Every story, the photos you pick, and a code on each page to hear it told. We print and ship it for you.
Can I fix the words before it prints?
Yes. Every spoken story is written out for you. On your private page you can correct a word, leave a story out, change the order and choose the photos. What you see is what prints.
Can I give it as a Christmas gift?
Yes. Choose "It's a gift", pick the day the first question should arrive, then print the gift card from your page and put it under the tree.
Who can see the stories?
Only your family. There are no public profiles and nothing is shared. You can download everything, voice recordings included, at any time.
What if they stop answering?
After two quiet weeks we send them a warm reminder and let you know, so you can call and record one together. You can also pause the questions whenever life gets busy.
How does the monthly plan get a book?
Monthly is $9.99 a month and you can stop anytime. After 12 paid months, the hardcover is included, just like the yearly plan.
